Stefanie Weber

Stefanie Weber is an action-based artist specializing in dance, movement and performance. She has had the thrill of making tap dancers out of dreamers since being thrust into a global family of rhythm keepers in 1997 by mentor and Jazz Tap legend Dianne Walker. Over the years, Stefanie has journeyed deep, near, far and wide to learn, share, and create in and out of her tap shoes. She presently directs the Creatures Of Habitat Physical Poetry Performance Project and The Pittsfield City Hoopla. She is also a performing member of the butoh-inspired Silver Swimmers (USA) and is a certified Gyrotonic trainer. Stefanie has worked with many organizations such as Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Barrington Stage Company, Berkshire Opera Company, Simon’s Rock, Williams College, Berkshire Community College, Pittsfield Office of Cultural Development, Terpsichore Dance Studio, Lenox Community Center, Hudsons’ Operation Unite, MOBIUS, and East Harlem Union Settlement Association.  She is a sought after teaching artist and well-known as a DIY visionary.
