What are Class Leaders?

BDT Class Leaders are a group of students with Level I-V distinction who act as a “guide” for on-stage performances. They will primarily be used for introductory level classes (i.e., Dance Intro, Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Tumbling, Dance Sampler, Intro to Hip Hop, etc.). BDT is committed to teaching its students to dance/perform independently on stage as opposed to “following”. Hence, Class Leaders will be assigned in accordance with faculty discretion (i.e., only where needed).
